Review: NARS Tinted Moisturizer

Tinted moisturizers are great. They moisture the skin, most have SPF and they also have a hint of color to even out your skin. This NARS one is just one of the best. The scent is fresh, but very mild. Also, this has SPF 30 so you don’t have to worry about adding it. The color range is really wide too, so there are a lot of options.

DSC_0067I bought mine at Sephora for $43  . The packaging is nice and not messy, which is a bonus. You put this on your face and it gives a natural look that will make you feel radiant. You still have your glow, but it is just polished a little bit

DSC_0070How to apply? I usually just use my hands, the way I would apply a moisturizer. I have seen people use brushes, but I don’t feel it necessary.

DSC_0069If you’re looking for a nice, low-key but worth the hype product…try this one. She’s a keeper!

Until next time, plant nothing but love.

M.A.C Dazzleglass Shadow

The iridescence had me at hello. The glitter then put me in a trance. And before I knew it…IT WAS MINE!

DSC_0216I can’t. I just can’t. There’s just too much glitter to be had with these and these are almost too pretty to use!

When I purchased these, the sales woman told me to use fix + or at least a primer.  When I have used this, I only wore with fix +, but  in the pic below you can see the swatch with no primer or fix + is on the top.  The bottom two are swatches with primer or fix +.

DSC_0220These shadows are just so cool. The color shifting properties add so much depth! They were a little pricey ($20 each), but they are so unique.

**And, all apologies.  These are no longer available from M.A.C.**

Did you pick up any of these shadows? What do you think?

Until next time, plant nothing but love.

Monthly Favorites: September 2015

Hello, friends! This month was good for me. There were ups and downs, of course, but overall I can’t complain. As far as makeup favorites, I have been keeping it simple still because this heat lately is still holding strong.

Beauty:

  • NARS Pure Radiant Tinted Moisturizer – This stuff is a one-stop shop. This evens out your skin tone, while moisturizing. On days that I am just home working, products like this are wonderful to just feel a little put together.
  • Covergirl Clump Crusher – a classic, right? This mascara is perfect for everyday, adding just enough to feather and lengthen the lashes. You can also really build this up, which is nice, but lately this is just an everyday step for me.
  • L’oreal Infallible eye shadow in Amber Rush – One swipe and this rose gold shadow will brighten up your eyes.  Drugstore or not, this shadow is epic.

Kat Von D Studded Lipstick in Lolita – This color wears so well and matches any look. I don’t know how, but this lasts all day. You know when you’ve had a lipstick on for a while and you go in for a check-up expecting it to be gone with the outer rim left only? Well, not this one. It wears pretty evenly so it isn’t too noticeable. Great color.

In light of the 20th anniversary of this movie, I have to say Seven. We watch this at least once a year and every single time I am blown away. It is so dark and such a thriller. Gets me every time! This article has some really cool trivia about the move.

Fashion:

Ray Bans – I feel so stylish when I wear these. Ray Bans are truly accessories that just step up for fashion game; I don’t care who you are. They instantly make you feel fly. Like, super duper fly.
