I haven’t tried too many products by Wet n Wild in my adult life. One of my goals was to try these little gems. When I stumbled across this gem in Walgreens, I just knew it would be my first review. At $3.49 can you really feel bad about that? I didn’t think so either.
The packaging is cute and is sealed with a sticker, which I always appreciate. They didn’t go overboard with the seal which is nice because you won’t chip your manicure! This compact comes with a highlight, blush and bronzer. It’s really an all in one product. I chose the lightest color (34517- sunset junction) since I’m very pale.
When I first opened, I thought how practical is was. Each section is large enough for a brush and clearly defined.
Swatch time. Holy softness! These feel so soft, not grainy at all. You can almost see the softness in this picture above. Also, notice how pigmented; each swipe was one pass. The highlight isn’t glittery or chunky and applies really smooth. I also want to mention that I have dry skin, so these products felt soft on me and I didn’t notice any oiliness. This could differ between skin types.
This blush looks perfect for summer! It’s so dainty and that highlight adds the most ethereal glow. These apply seamlessly with easy application and easier blend ability. I will admit that I underestimated the blush and put too much on. But with some magic, it was really easy to fix.
As for the rest of the face, see picture above. I’m still obsessing over that smashbox lip color, see my past blog post about why I love it.
My final though on this trio is…YES! I’ll be definitely using this all summer. Will you be getting this? Keep in mind that it is a limited edition, so it won’t be part of their permanent displays.
I have been using this every day since I posted this review. This product really broke me out. This is the only new product I tried and the break out is right where I apply the bronzer, so this has to be the reason. Just wanted to post this update, in case there are other people with sensitive skin out there. Very sad, since I really liked this. Be careful!
Until next time, plant nothing but love.
