Would you rock this: Colored Eyebrow

I saw a really old post from Ssssamanthaa on Instagram where she colored her eyebrows in pink.  So, I thought that would be prefect to try for a “would you rock this” post.  I used the urban decay electric palette.  I have dark eyebrows and even though I used a white base I still needed something that packed a big punch!  This palette offers pigments that are really rich in color…it seemed perfect for the test.

So what will you need to try this? A color of your choosing (I think a gold would be really fun), a white eye shadow base and a small precision brush.

Pretty basic on what you need.  If you don’t have a bright color, even an eggplant or navy might look cool.  Just use whatcha got!

  1. Using your white base, white out your eyebrow completely from front through the tail.
  2. Using your small brush, choose the color you want and simply paint over the brow.  Be careful to stick to your brow shape and don’t get carried away with the pretty colors.
  3. Fix up the edges if you need to.
  4. Done!

So, there we go.  It was so easy!  I also tried a pink color on my other brow.  The blue looked better on my face because my brows are naturally dark.  If you have lighter brows an orange/pink ombré could look really cool.

So…Would you rock this look?  While I love playing around with looks, I don’t think this was for me.  This would be a great look for a theme party or costume, but not for everyday or even a night out with your girlfriends. As Amy Poehler says, “good for you, not for me.”

Be sure to check out my  Instagram!  Until next time, plant nothing but love.
